Landscape is a small scale ink and graphite painting on delicate, handmade xuan paper. Brushmarks have been layered from thinner washes to more opaquely pigmented marks, creating a dramatic sense of foreground and depth.

The piece embodies the essence of an imagined landscape with an ironic sense of monumentality in contrast to the small scale of the piece.
